MEET NUTMEG!

Hi! My name is Nutmeg, and I’m a sweet, playful little girl looking for a family to call my own.

It's suspected I may have some Shepherd or Husky in me, but since no one knows who my parents are, your guess is as good as ours! One thing we do know is that I’m pretty darn cute.

I’m a friendly, playful pup who loves people, cuddles and having fun. I’m still very young, which means I have lots to learn. I’ll need a family who is ready to help me with house training, basic manners and all the other important things that come with growing into a wonderful adult dog.

And speaking of growing... I may be a cute 19-pound bundle right now, but there’s no guarantee how big I’ll be when I’m all grown up!

Adopting a puppy is a serious, lifelong commitment. Puppies are undeniably cute, but raising one takes time, patience, consistency and planning. Before applying, please make sure you’re ready for:

• Time — daily exercise, training, socialization and attention
• Patience — accidents, puppy nipping, chewing and all those puppy learning curves
• Budget — quality food, routine veterinary care, yearly vaccines and unexpected expenses
• Space — a home and environment suitable for a growing, active dog
