Meet Basil!

Hi! My name is Basil, and I’m a handsome 12-week-old mixed breed boy searching for my forever family.

I may have some Shepherd or Husky in me, but since we don’t know who my parents are, we really can’t be sure. What we can tell you is that I’m a friendly, playful little guy who loves people, cuddles and having fun!

I’m still just a baby, so I have lots to learn. I’ll need a family willing to put in the time to teach me house training, basic manners and all the other important skills a young pup needs. With patience, consistency and plenty of love, I have all the potential to grow into an amazing companion.

Before falling for my adorable puppy face...

Adopting a puppy is a serious, lifelong commitment. I may be a cute 18-pound bundle right now, but puppies grow—and sometimes we grow into pretty big dogs! Since my parents are unknown, there’s no way to know exactly how big I’ll be as an adult.

My future family needs to be prepared for the time required for walks, training and attention; the patience needed for accidents, chewing and puppy mischief; the financial commitment of food, veterinary care, vaccines and other expenses; and the space needed for a growing, active dog.

If you’re ready to put in the work and get a whole lot of puppy kisses, cuddles, laughs and unconditional love in return, I’d love the chance to grow up by your side.
