Icarus - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Georgetown, Texas

This handsome boy came to us as a stray and is ready for a fresh start. Icarus is currently dealing with a few skin issues, but with some TLC, good nutrition, and a loving home, we expect him to feel and look his best in no time.

Icarus appears to be house-trained, walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and already knows sit. His calm manners and sweet personality make him an easy companion to spend time with.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilcotx.gov.

In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.

Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
