Ophelia - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Gainesville, Florida

- Her name is Ophelia; her former name was Ethel.
- Super affectionate, sensitive, loving and SMART
- No bad habits - not a chewer; calm; wants affection but after 5 or 10 minutes of petting, she wants to curl up and take a break.
-Housebroken. Can easily go a long time without going to the bathroom.
-She does tolerates riding in cars. She is getting better, but driving in the car stresses her out.
- Walks well on a leash, can be distracted by squirrels.
- High prey drive; absolutely zero food or toy drive
- She sleeps in bed with me
-She loves to be petted - so very affectionate - she likes full-body hugs. She is the sweetest dog imaginable.
-Her hair does not seem to shed
- I used a crate with her initially and she was getting OK with it, but she is so good, I didn't feel she needed a crate to stay out of trouble when I am not home -- and I am home almost all the time!
-She loves her teddy bear; has not destroyed it but loves to gently chew on it
-Loves long walks in the woods
-Very friendly in public - approaches people and wants to be petted
- She is vocal and expressive - especially when happy or excited. Not a growler or barker.
