About Miss Trixie
Miss Trixie came to HT a very short time ago and we are still learning her personality, likes, dislikes and quirks. So far we know - Trixie is a friendly, easygoing girl who loves spending time with her people. She was easy to gear up and happy to head out on her walks, giving lots of sweet eye contact and checkins. She handles traffic and greetings from new people with no issues at all. So far Trixie has not been interested in toys-she's all about pets, snuggles, lap time, and kisses. She's a gentle, affectionate companion who's ready to bring warmth and love to her new home.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
