ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Mustache was rescued from the streets in Northern Iraq. While receiving vetting and waiting for a chance to come to the US for adoption, he and his friends were housed in a facility next door to the U.S. Consulate in Erbil. Daily attacks meant the kitties heard explosion and drone attacks routinely. It was more stressful than most of us could imagine for these kitties. They've flown to safety and are settling into their foster homes beautifully. They are friendly kitties who just need a moment to adjust to the whirlwind trip they've been on.
We are proud to partner with the following veterinarians who offer a free first exam for your animal, exclusively for HT adopters: Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Palisades Veterinary Clinic, Sunshine Animal Hospital and Clarendon Animal Care and all VCA Animal Hospitals. Additionally, any VCA hospital will cover illnesses up to $250 at no cost to any Homeward Trails adopter.
You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high risk shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters.
