ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:
Sprout's story hasn't started out easy, but this resilient little girl is already showing everyone just how special she is. Rescued alongside her brother Miller from a rural Virginia shelter, Sprout arrived suffering from severe flea allergy dermatitis that left her itchy, uncomfortable, and missing much of her fur. Thankfully, she is receiving the care she needs and is already on her way to healing and becoming the beautiful pup she was always meant to be.

Despite everything she has been through, Sprout has a gentle, loving spirit. She is curious about the world around her and enjoys taking in new sights and experiences. Her soulful, sad eyes tell a story, and one look from her is enough to melt your heart. Beneath those eyes is a sweet girl who simply wants love, comfort, and a family to call her own.

As her fur grows back and her confidence continues to blossom, Sprout is sure to become an incredible companion. If you're looking for a dog with a loving heart, a resilient spirit, and endless potential, Sprout may be the perfect addition to your family.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
