DESCRIPTION

Norm Maclean A181063
40 lb. neutered male, approx 8 months old

-Happy, playful boy who loves toys! He'll chase them and bring them back (most times). He's also good about lying down and self entertaining.
-He's very food motivated, sits or goes into a lay, and takes them decently.
-He seems smart and eager to learn and to continue working on his puppy manners. He has a great foundation already!
-He loves to snuggle up close and relax for pets and belly rubs. He would have laid there all day in my arms if he could have!
-He gives kisses
-Walks decent on leash with minimal pulling
-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be!
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
