Iris Kate - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Danville, Vermont

Iris Kate is a 3 month old puppy transferred to us from an overcrowded shelter in Mississippi. She is a classic "black dog in a shelter" with little chance of adoption down there. Her litter mates all look different and we have no idea what they are. They may have some Aussie in them based on her littermates coloring; some had beautiful tri-colors.

She is a sweet and easy puppy. She is spayed and vaccinated. She weighs about 10#.

Her adoption fee is $500. To adopt her, apply at cvcaninerescue.org

All adopters are required to provide year-round heartworm prevention.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
