Atticus - Bluetick Coonhound Dog for Adoption in Danville, Vermont

Atticus is a 1.5 yo hound mix (probably bluetick mix) who has been in rescue since he was a puppy. He was a parvo survivor and has been to many adoption events. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him, but he's not yet found a home in rural Mississippi where they are deep in a pet overpopulation crisis. He is great with everyone and everything...kids, cats, and dogs. He is crate trained, leash trained, and is nearly house trained (hard to do when you don't have a forever home). The rescue asked us to take him up north because he is an awesome dog who deserves and awesome home.

He is a little leggy but only weighs 45#. He is vaccinated, neutered, HW negative, and is up to date on his prevention.
