CHIP - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Dallas, Texas

Chip is a male dog who presented with osteomyelitis (bone infection) affecting digits #4 and #5 of his left front paw. This condition can be painful and may require prompt veterinary evaluation, diagnostic imaging, and medical and/or surgical treatment to control the infection and prevent further complications. Without appropriate treatment, the infection may worsen and could result in ongoing pain, tissue damage, impaired mobility, or spread of the infection. This level of specialized veterinary and potential surgical care exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite his condition, Chip remains resilient and is doing his best while receiving supportive care. Chip needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive prompt veterinary evaluation, appropriate treatment for his osteomyelitis, pain management, and any surgical intervention deemed necessary to address the affected digits and restore his comfort and mobility.
