MISS EVIE BEAN - Mixed Breed Dog Available for Adoption in Cranston, Rhode Island

They couldn’t even be bothered to bring her to the door.
Miss Evie Bean was left across the street from a shelter down south in a small kennel… in the rain. No note. No goodbye. No one came looking. And somehow, through all of it, she never made a sound. She just waited.
A couple days passed before anyone realized she was there. While the world moved around her, Miss Evie Bean sat quietly, hopeful that someone would finally notice her.
And now we have.
This low-riding little sweetheart is around 50 lbs of pure gentle soul. She absolutely adores people, melts for attention, and gets along just fine with other calm, chill dogs. She’s the kind of dog that doesn’t ask for much, just a soft place to land and someone who will finally choose her on purpose.
We think she’s been patient long enough.

ADOPTION INFORMATION

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
- Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

- We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
- We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.

While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
