Hi, I’m Beauty. I’m 6 years old, 48 pounds, and I recently lost the only life I knew.

You see, my person entered hospice care. I don’t understand what hospice means. I just know that one day I had a person, a home, and a place where I belonged.

And then I didn’t.

Somehow, I ended up in a high-kill shelter. At 6 years old, I found myself sitting in a scary place, surrounded by strangers, wondering why my whole world had disappeared.

I didn’t do anything wrong. I wasn’t a bad girl. My person just couldn’t take care of me anymore.

Thankfully, Rescue Coop saw me and decided my story wasn’t going to end there.

I’m a quiet, laid-back girl. I’m not asking for grand adventures, fancy toys, or a social calendar. Frankly, my idea of a wild Friday night is a comfy couch, a good movie, and someone willing to share their snacks. I’m an excellent listener, too.
I’ve already lost one home. I’m hoping the next one will be my last.
