JB - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Columbia, South Carolina

Meet JB! This handsome boy is a 10 year old mixed breed who came to us from a rural county shelter after he was surrendered through no fault of his own. JB's owners fell ill and were unable to continue caring for him. So, now he is in our care and ready for a fresh start! This sweet soul is a mellow, easygoing boy who walks well on a leash and is presumably housetrained. He's about 25lbs of pure sweetness. He gets along with other dogs, loves a yummy treat, and is a sucker for a warm bed. JB is a bit shy at first, but he warms up fast and all he wants is a loving home to spend his golden years. If you are looking to love a senior, you've come to the right place!

We promised JB that the rest of his life, would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
