Heidi is such a sweet, affectionate, and beautiful girl! She had some cuts on her face but is healing nicely and revealing how pretty she is! She seems so grateful to be in a home - she is so loving and really just wants to be with her people. She wants to know what you're up to and either join whatever's going on or just lie by your feet.
Despite her size, there's no telling her she's not a lap dog! If you're sitting on the couch, she's ready to join you and she will hop right into your lap to snuggle. She loves to curl up right beside you and bury her head into your body. She will ask for pets and belly rubs and return the favor by showering you in kisses!
After couch time, she gets into playful moods. She has especially loved tossing toys up in the air to herself to catch, it is adorable to watch!
She has done great free-roaming in the house and has had no accidents, just be sure to hide away any food! She has snuck a few things off the counter while her fosters weren't looking! However, she is very respectful when you are eating and will not try to take food from you.
She loves to go outside with you and hang out in the yard or go for walks. She does great on a leash and never pulls - she usually just walks right beside you. She does great interacting with other dogs and people while out and about. She also likes the resident cat and is very gentle with him. She is a friend to all!
She is very smart and seems quick to learn new commands. She knows sit, down, shake, and spin.
Heidi would make a perfect addition to any home looking for a loving companion who is up for anything! Whether you're outside or on the couch, having play time or nap time, she will be there to join you. She is ready to be part of your family.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
