Pixel is a curious, energetic, and loveable dog. He LOVES people, chew bones and being outside. Outside brings so much stimulation with squirrels and birds to chase, sticks to chew on or drag around the yard and digging for treasures in the ground. He loves to explore. He also likes to just be outside and watch over the yard. He does bark, especially if other dogs in the neighborhood are barking.
Pixel would do well as an only dog if he has an active owner or family to keep him busy. He likes and plays well with other dogs. However, he does have some resource guarding issues so any other dog would have to be OK with him grabbing treats and toys. The resident dog currently lets him have everything so there have been no issues. He will need someone patient to help him work through it.
He is potty- and kennel-trained. He currently eats in his kennel. He is also kenneled overnight and during the workday. He knows the sit command, and we are working on down and stay. He walks well on a leash with an easy walk harness. Without the harness he pulls quite hard.
Pixel is a typical puppy with puppy energy and enthusiasm.

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
