DESCRIPTION
LUNA, 8 months old at intake, is a mixed breed taken in on 7/13/26 as an abandoned dog. Cheery and carefree, this sweet girl is happy to meet everyone. New to the concept of walking on lead, Luna's an eager, quick learner. It also helps that she's treat motivated. But most of all, Luna's both smart and playful. She loves toys and is crafty enough to gently and deftly rob you of any toys that are tucked into your waistband or pocket! More than an adorable face, Luna's fun and sharp as a tack! Her adoption fee is $150 and helps cover the cost of her spay, vaccinations, worming, monthly flea and heart worm preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
