Twister - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Bradenton, Florida

Monopoly, Twister, Uno and Jenga should have spent their first months playing and feeling safe. Instead, they survived a horrific bait dog situation. They are the only ones who made it out alive.

They came to Nate's from a rural shelter carrying injuries no puppy should ever have. Monopoly's fractured skull has healed. Twister is receiving treatment for a broken jaw. The person responsible has been prosecuted.

And somehow, these four are still everything you hope a puppy will be: happy, sweet, and eager for love. When you meet them, you see their loving personalities and easy-going nature, not the horror they survived.

We can't change their beginning. We can give them the care they need now and help each one find the safe, loving home they deserved from the start.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
