Sayde - Shepherd and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Bradenton, Florida

At just 2 years old, Sayde has already been through more than any dog should. After having puppies, she was abandoned by her owner at a vet's office. She arrived to us in critical condition with heart damage from heartworm disease, needing oxygen to help her survive. For a while, it was touch and go.

Today, this sweet, 34-pound girl is ready for a soft place to land. Sayde is house trained, likes kids, and is happiest just lounging around. A comfy bed, a quiet household, and a family to love her would mean so much to this girl.

Her heartworms have been treated, but the damage remains. She'll never be a running buddy and will likely need supportive heart meds for life. She also has a cough that will probably never go away completely.
