Carlos has already been through more than any dog ever should.

He was rescued from a hoarding situation, only to later be abandoned by the very rescue that was supposed to care for him. Carlos then faced the terrifying possibility of being returned to the Dallas Animal Shelter, where he would have had only 24 hours before being at risk of euthanasia.

But thankfully, Carlos was given another chance.

Now, all he needs is what he has deserved all along: a forever home and someone who will love him for the incredible dog he is.

Carlos is the kind of dog who always seems to have a smile on his face. He is incredibly friendly and has the perfect amount of energy—fun and playful when it’s time for adventure, but also happy to relax and enjoy time with his people.

Whether you want to go for a walk, spend time outdoors, or simply relax at home, Carlos is ready to be right by your side. After a fun day, he is more than happy to curl up beside you on the couch and watch your favorite movie.
