Mosby - Black Mouth Cur Dog for Adoption in Blacksburg, Virginia

Meet our friendly boy Mosby! This sweet boy just barely escaped euthanasia when one of our steadfast fosters offered to take him. Unfortunately, she is unable to take Mosby at the moment as she currently has a very reactive dog in her home. Since Mosby is a submissive and happy boy, we have decided that it would be better to find another foster or adopter for him.

He is dog friendly and really enjoys being around dogs and people. He would be a great companion and would love to wake you up with a waggily tail and excitement for new adventures every day!

We need a wonderful foster or adopter to open their home to this sweet boy so he can leave boarding in Texas. If you would like to help Mosby start his next phase of his rescue journey, please submit a foster or adoption application. We will list both applications below. We can make videos available for any interested families. We do think he is housebroken, but he would need time and patience to teach him how to "ask" to go out in his new home. He was uninterested in cats, but we aren't sure if he is fully cat friendly. Likewise, we are unsure how he is with kids, but we could ask for one of our volunteers to kid-test as well.

Mosby is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and on preventatives.
