How is Felice still waiting for her forever home?

Felice has stolen the hearts of everyone she encounters. Yet she's still patiently looking for the perfect family to provide a calm, predictable environment. A secure yard is a bonus. She would truly flourish in a home with people who enjoy daily walks, and, of course, lots of love (and a great napping spot). She currently lives with other dogs and could happily continue with canine company, and would do best with older, dog-savvy kids.

With gentle, but firm guidance, this senior dog can definitely learn some new tricks! She’s intelligent, observant, and likes to know what’s expected of her. Give her clear direction, and she’ll meet you there. She walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, and in the house? Easy. House-trained, crate-trained, and respectful of routines. Felice does have opinions. She can be a little bossy and will let you know when someone arrives, but she responds well to calm, consistent leadership. She’s also working on minding her business around cats.

She’s not looking for chaos or constant activity; just consistency, comfort, and someone to call her own.
