Are you an introvert that practices at becoming a bit of an extrovert? If so, coach Dixi may be the ultimate wingman. Just 4 months ago she was terrified of car rides, and now she is all in (literally). A car ride leads to a great new hiking spot, or a group run, or a walk through a local market. (Ok, yes, sometimes the vet, but we are at a 60:1 ratio for that, so our girl is willing to risk the odds). So much more than a wingman, Dixi is an inspiration (have you started your new years resolutions yet?)! She joins here foster moms weekly running crew, and it may be her favourite time of the week.

For her future home, we'd love to see her with a canine pal. She likes the companionship of the older dog in the home and they thrive in a parallel companionship. We think she'd be likely to play if her future canine sibling was younger and keen to romp. Dixi is smaller than you think, so no big big dogs for her. Our beauty also passed her cat test. She'd be happiest with a home with a secure yard, so she can join you out back for a morning coffee, some gardening (you, not her), or a pee break (her, not you).
