Willow - Miniature Schnauzer Dog Available for Adoption in Closter, New Jersey

Meet Willow, a 6 year old possible Mini Schnauzer mix weighing about 9 pounds. This little girl is fully vetted, healthy, and absolutely adores people. The second she meets you, she’ll happily throw herself right into your lap and make herself at home.

Willow gets along well with other dogs, though she’d definitely prefer if your lap belonged mostly to her. She loves being close to her people and doesn’t enjoy being alone, so she may bark at first until she feels secure and settles into a routine. Because of that, she’d likely do best in a home where someone is around often, such as a work from home household or someone retired. An apartment may not be the best fit unless her person is home much of the day.

If you’re looking for a tiny shadow who wants nothing more than love, cuddles, and to be as close to you as possible, Willow may be your girl.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. We will only be looking at applications!

2. Please make sure you fill out our adoption application COMPLETELY. We may not be able to respond to applications that are not completely filled out with the proper information. Side note: on our applications, the more details you provide = the better.

3. We prefer applicants live within 60 miles of Closter, NJ. (Applicants who live farther away may still apply. However, please note we do prioritize local applications as we try our best to serve our local community first.)

4. Please respect our organization, our volunteers and our process. As a reminder, our organization is a nonprofit. We receive no money from the state. We have no paid employees! This is a polite reminder that we are doing our best to make the right decisions for the animals in our care. Thank you.
