Pepper OS 1120 - Miniature Poodle and Cardigan Welsh Corgi Dog for Adoption

Meet Pepper!

Pepper is an adorable, approximately 17-pound Corgi/Poodle mix (possibly with a little Terrier!) looking for a loving forever home!

Pepper is an energetic, playful, and affectionate little guy with so much love to give. He is incredibly smart, knows lots of commands, and picks up on new things quickly. He loves going for walks and is an excellent walking companion! After a day of playing and exploring, Pepper is happy to settle down and relax..

He sleeps quietly through the night, does well on car rides, behaves wonderfully at the vet, and is patient during grooming.

Pepper loves people and gets excited when visitors arrive. He may bark initially, but he settles down quickly once he sees who's there. He's still working on greeting people without jumping up!

Pepper is looking for an adult-only home. Although he is a loving companion, he has some resource-guarding behaviors and can react when someone unexpectedly enters his personal space. He has been attending training to address these behaviors.

Pepper has also recently started showing reactivity toward other dogs during walks, so his future family should be prepared to help him work through this.

Despite these challenges, Pepper is a happy, intelligent, adaptable little dog with so many wonderful qualities. He is generally easygoing at home and has no known health issues.

Pepper deserves a home where he can feel safe, receive plenty of love and attention, and continue building his confidence. With the right family, this sweet little guy has so much to offer!
