Odysseus is a sweet young boy who was rescued from a local hotel when a guest noticed he had been hanging around the hotel for months. No trap was needed to catch this guy, he is so friendly he came every day for food and to enjoy pets and love from all of the hotel guests! With the cold weather coming, they decided it was time for him to find a safe, warm indoor home to move to!

He is FIV positive, but in great health! We arent sure how he would be with other cats and dogs, but we dont expect he would have any trouble with them. He would also be good with kids, as he is very chill and relaxed!

FIV+ cats need love too! FIV is species specific, meaning only cats can be infected. FIV+ cats can live just as long as non-FIV cats. If introduced properly, FIV and Non-FIV cats can live happy and healthy lives together. The virus is very frail and can only live outside the body for a few seconds, and requires serious physical interaction, like deep bite wounds. Normal social interactions, such as grooming, sharing food and water bowls and litter boxes have no known risk of transmission.
