Lulu is a 3 year old sweetheart who is getting her very first chance to discover what it means to simply be a dog.
She came to BENCHS after being released from a breeder alongside her friend, Fiona. Based on the urine staining on her feet and underbelly when she arrived, it is believed she spent much of her life in a kennel. Because of that, so many everyday things are brand new to her. Toys don't make much sense yet, treats are still a mystery, and she likely has had very little potty training, so her future family should expect to patiently teach her the basics of living in a home.
Lulu is a shy little girl who takes time to trust new people, and she would do best in a quiet, low traffic home where she can settle in at her own pace. But if you are willing to let her move at her own speed, you'll discover the sweetest companion. Once she feels safe, she absolutely melts into affection and loves being gently petted.
Lulu is looking for a patient, understanding family who will celebrate every little milestone with her. Watching a dog discover comfort, love, and confidence for the first time is something truly special, and Lulu is ready for that journey.
