Sasa is a 3-year-old Miniature Poodle with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and a smile that never seems to fade. She was diagnosed with a neurological disorder called meningoencephalitis and is currently on a treatment plan that includes monthly injections for the next few months. With her medical care and ongoing treatment, Sasa is able to navigate the world just like any other happy, playful dog.
And happy is exactly what Sasa is!
Sasa is a loving, affectionate girl who forms strong bonds with her person and is incredibly loyal once she knows she’s yours. She loves being close to her favorite human—whether that means being held, snuggled up in your lap, or simply following you around.
When she’s not cuddling, Sasa is ready to explore. She loves walks and adventures, and she’s happiest when she gets to experience the world alongside her person. She also enjoys a good treat, especially blueberries and apples, and she’ll never turn down a tasty snack.
At home, Sasa has some very specific opinions about comfort. She loves sleeping under the covers, curling up on your pillow, and—most importantly—claiming any pillow she can find. She is, without question, a true pillow connoisseur.
Sasa is also wonderfully social. She gets along well with both dogs and cats and enjoys having furry friends around. She’s smart, attentive, and eager to connect with the people around her. In fact, she even responds to some Mandarin commands!
