Sofie and her bestie Milo were surrendered to our care after their devoted owner experienced unexpected financial hardship and a move to housing that could not accommodate additional pets. With all the changes in their lives, Sofie and Milo are each other's source of comfort and companionship now more than ever. At 10 years old and 15 pounds, Sofie is a sweet, spunky, and playful girl. Like her bestie, she gets excited at mealtime and enjoys non-chicken-based kibble topped with green beans or cooked carrots. They both love healthy treats including strawberries, melon, and blueberries, and know to take them gently from the palm of your hand. Sofie enjoys going for walks and playing with Milo.
