Champ is a 1 ½ year old Poodle/Dachshund mix packed into a tiny little 7# body. His personality is bigger than his body! This playful little guy is full of energy, loves his toys, and is always ready for an adventure… especially if it involves a walk.
Champ is crate trained, though he may voice his opinions for a few minutes before settling in. He’s still working on house training, but his foster has figured out his schedule and he’s making great progress with going outside consistently. Smart little dude.
When playtime is over, Champ transforms into a world class cuddle bug. He loves laps, snuggling in bed, and sleeping curled up beside his people all night long. He’s also highly motivated by good treats — salmon and turkey are definitely favorites.
Champ gets along well with other dogs, has done well around the kids he has met, and didn’t pay any attention to a cat during bath time. Meet and greets are always required. He’d love a home that will continue helping him learn routines while giving him plenty of love, toys, and snuggles in return.
Tiny dog. Big heart. Endless entertainment 🐾💜
Champ is neutered, current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. To meet Champ, please submit an application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.
Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
