We got a message that there was a puppy at someone’s home. We had no idea he’d been left sitting alone in their front yard—so of course, we went to get him and brought him straight home.
Sundae was in pretty rough shape when we found him, but his bloodwork and checkup looked great. He was just a little banged up, and his hair is still growing back. We think he may be a Min Pin mix. His paws look a bit big, so we don’t expect him to stay small—he may grow to 25 pounds or more. And those ears? They may have plans of their own!
Since coming home, Sundae has been nothing but a joy. He’s been running around our house with 14 other dogs, sleeps through the night, and makes the sweetest little cuddle sounds. You can hear them in his photos!
Sleeps through the night
Enjoys cuddling
Happy around other dogs
Could love having a dog sibling
May also do well as an only dog with someone home to spend time with him and help him learn
Beautiful, sweet, and full of personality
Sundae was found alone, and we’d love to find him a family who can give him the attention, patience, and guidance every puppy needs. A friendly dog sibling could be a wonderful match, but a committed person who’s home with him and ready to help him learn could be a great fit, too.
Please fill out an application at upshotdogrescue.org to get started. We’ll arrange a FaceTime call after it comes in. You can also follow @upshotdogrescuepr on Instagram and Charlaine Raynor on Facebook, or email upshotadoptionteam@gmail.com with questions.
