DESCRIPTION
Meet Boone
Meet Boone, an approximately 2-year-old Mastiff mix who was recently rescued from the Rockpit in Miami. This big boy is the definition of a gentle giant.
Boone has already shown us just how special he is. He's great with dogs of all sizes and has done well with cats, too. He's still building his confidence, so he may need a gentle lift into the car or a little extra encouragement when facing unfamiliar places. But once you meet him, you'll understand why you'll want to give this boy the whole world.
Boone is now neutered, fully vetted, and ready for his forever home.
There's something incredibly touching about Boone. He seems to know he's been given a second chance, and he exudes pure gratitude. Now he's looking for his person-the one who will tuck him into bed at night, remind him that he's safe, and show him that from here on out, his life will be filled with nothing but love.
Could you be Boone's person?
Apply to meet this beautiful gentle giant. We have a feeling Boone is going to steal your heart.
ABOUT: MASTIFF DOG BREED
The Mastiff, a large and powerful breed with a history dating back to ancient times, is known for its gentle and loyal nature. These dogs are devoted family companions, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Despite their imposing size, Mastiffs are typically calm and patient, making them excellent protectors and watchdogs. With a distinctive wrinkled face and a massive build, Mastiffs require proper training and socialization to thrive in various environments.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
