Meet Morocco — He Survived the Unthinkable. Now He Just Needs Someone to Love Him.

Hi, I'm Morocco, and all I've ever wanted is a family to call my own.

When I was just a tiny puppy, my siblings and I were abandoned in the middle of a scorching desert field. We were left to fend for ourselves in the brutal heat—hungry, frightened, covered in fleas, and suffering from demodectic mange (the non-contagious kind).

One by one, my siblings were found...

But my sister and I were missing.

The amazing Animal Control officer named Nikki (SHE IS AN ANGEL!) refused to give up on us. She came back every day for an entire week, searching the desert, hoping we were still alive.

Then, she found us.

We were huddled together in a ditch, exhausted, scared, and barely hanging on. We had been waiting all alone, wondering if anyone would ever come for us.

Without Nikki refusing to give up, we never would have had a chance.

The shelters are incredibly overcrowded right now, and because we needed medical treatment, Nikki reached out to a rescue. She knew the shelter didn't have the resources to help us, and without rescue stepping in, our story likely would have ended there.

Then something beautiful happened.

Bullies and Buddies Rescue said YES.

Now I'm about 11 weeks old and a Male Mastiff/Pit Bull mix, so I'll grow into a big, beautiful boy. My skin is healing, my fur is growing back, and every day I'm learning that not all humans leave you behind.

Despite everything I've been through, my heart is still full of love. I'm incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate. I adore other dogs and would love a home with a confident canine companion to help me continue building my confidence.

I'm also wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. I don't ask for much—I just want someone to love me forever.

I survived being abandoned.

I survived days alone in the desert.

I survived illness.

Now I'm waiting for the one thing I've never had...

A family.
