Miss Nova is the shooting star you’ve been searching for! This incredibly sweet girl absolutely adores her people and wants nothing more than to be by their side.

Nova came to us emaciated and broken, but she’s been gaining weight, learning what it feels like to be loved, and showing us just how affectionate she truly is. Now we’re looking for a very special home that can give her the security and consistency she needs.

Nova struggles with severe separation anxiety, so she needs a home where someone is home essentially all the time. A retired person, someone who works permanently from home, or a household with adults on opposite schedules could be a great fit. This isn’t simply a preference for Nova—being left alone causes her significant distress, and we want to set her up for success rather than place her in a situation she isn’t ready to handle.

For now, Nova also needs to be the only pet in the home while she decompresses, builds confidence, and gets to soak up all the love and attention she’s been missing.
