Oh the cuteness!
These are Maremma Sheepdog puppies. This breed was bred for watching the herds, just like Pyrenees. They are purebred Maremmas, but we tagged as Pyrenees because many people haven't even heard of this breed so they’d never show up in search results. The two breeds are very similar.
We have two pups - one boy, one girl. Bubbles and Harry. Can be adopted together or separately.
Currently 8 weeks as of mid August. Currently 8 pounds but will grow to 60-80 pounds.
They are vaccinated but not yet spayed/neutered because they are too young. If we still have them in a few months, we will have them spayed/neutered. They are making progress on potty training, but will need some positive reinforcement training to ensure they have got the hang of it.
They are smart, funny, playful, and of course adorable.
Seeking $750 adoption/donation fees each.
Adoption fees help us rescue other dogs. Please also note that we only adopt out to people who intend to keep dogs inside their home - not predominantly outside and not dealing with the loneliness of overseeing a herd of animals.
These pups are as cute as they come and deserve a wonderful home. Could that be you?
NOTE: These dogs are in Texas where sadly 80,000 pets are euthanized because we have too many animals and not enough homes. Hence we network many of our rescue dogs across the country in cities with higher adoption demand. A dog can easily be transported to you for about $250 plus $100 health certificate required for transport across state lines. The $750 adoption fee is a premium, we realize this, but the higher adoption fee for high demand puppies helps us raise funds to help the mutts who are in less demand. Hence $750 adoption fee + $250 transport fee + $100 health certificate = $1,100 total. Trust us, these pups are worth it.
