$250 Adoption fee! Why so low? Yakima County is spilling over with stray and dumped dogs. Our goal is to get dogs into the right homes ASAP so we can help other dogs in need. It's not about the money, it's about finding the right home for these pups! We picked up Peanut from the streets of Yakima. He was in very rough shape - severely matted, nails so long they were digging into his paw pads, ear and eye infections, and teeth rotting and falling out. He had about 20 teeth pulled, and has since recovered from all his ailments. He’s such a happy boy now and very full of life! You wouldn’t believe he’s about 15 yrs old! He’s the perfect lap warmer and cuddle bug. This dog is located in Selah, WA. PetFinder allows multiple postings of the same animal as long as the postings are 100 miles apart from each other. This way we can reach far and wide to find the perfect home for this dog. If driving to Selah is difficult for you, we will do our best to find a rescue partner to meet you halfway. If multiple approved applications come in, the family with the highest donation offer will be chosen. Please do not apply until you are ready to adopt! We can hold a dog up to 5 days while transportation is arranged, then each additional day will be a $20 boarding fee. Our goal is to get dogs into their forever homes so we can help more stray dogs out there in the streets. All deposits and fees are considered donations and are not refundable.
