* This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, July 25th from 12-3 PM unless adopted prior to the event.
All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption.

Meet Rosebud's Puppies: Petal, Tiny Bud & Sprout!
If you've ever wished you could bottle up sunshine, puppy kisses, and endless entertainment, we'd like to introduce you to Petal, Tiny Bud, and Sprout—an irresistibly adorable trio of 13 week old Maltipoo puppies born on April 16th. With their soft, non-shedding coats and larger-than-life personalities, these little fluffballs are ready to find families who are prepared for all the joy (and hilarity!) that comes with raising a puppy.
Please note: Puppies should be adopted separately to help them grow into confident, well-adjusted adult dogs.
Tiny Puppies, Big Adventures
These three start their mornings bright and early around 6:00 AM, when they excitedly head outside with the resident dogs for a little romp before breakfast. Their favorite meal is a mix of Blue Buffalo puppy canned food and Nulo puppy kibble, and while they're enthusiastic eaters, let's just say...table manners are still a work in progress!
Throughout the day they alternate between supervised playtime indoors, adventures outside when the weather cooperates, and naps in their x-pen. Dinner is served around 5:00 PM, and bedtime comes around 11:00 PM. Of course, before anyone actually falls asleep, there's usually one final championship wrestling match between siblings!
Meet the Puppies
Petal
Petal may be the tiniest puppy we've ever met, but nobody remembered to tell her that! Born weighing just 62 grams, she's grown into an almost 3-pound bundle of confidence and mischief.
This fearless little girl happily keeps up with her bigger brothers and has absolutely no problem marching off on solo adventures if someone leaves a room unattended for even a second. Thanks to her tiny size, she has a special talent for squeezing under couches during games of 'Come here, Petal!' Once she's finished exploring and burns off her puppy energy, she's perfectly content curling up quietly in your lap for a cuddle.
Tiny Bud
Tiny Bud is the smaller of the two boys and is all about fun. Wrestling with his siblings is one of his favorite activities, and he's always ready to play.
He's got an adventurous spirit; if you pick him up for a quick cuddle, it won't be long before he's ready to go down and zoom off in search of something new to play with!
Sprout
Sprout has been the 'big brother' from the very beginning—roughly twice the size of his littermates since birth!
Sprout is pure comedy. His favorite hobby is grabbing toys (or anything he can carry) and taking off at full speed, hoping someone will chase him. He also loves following his mama during her zoomies, enthusiastically barking when he's ready to join the fun.
He's also convinced that water bowls are meant for digging, splashing, and general entertainment, so perhaps there's a future water dog hiding beneath all that fluff. And when it's time for a nap? Don't be surprised if you find him sleeping under the dog bed instead of on it. We estimate Sprout may grow to around 12–15 pounds, making him the biggest of the bunch.
Raised to Love Everyone
These puppies have had an incredibly social start to life. From just two weeks old, they shared their nursery with two kittens their exact same age. Whether that means the puppies think they're cats or the kittens think they're dogs, nobody's entirely sure—but they're convinced all feline friends are potential playmates!
They also adore the family's friendly adult cat, happily wrestle with him, and have been raised alongside two Black Labs and several smaller dogs. Big dogs, little dogs, cats, people—they're simply convinced everyone exists to be their best friend.
Because of this, they'd love homes with friendly resident pets who enjoy playful puppy antics.
Grooming
These adorable little fluffballs are even tinier than they appear because so much of what you're seeing is glorious, fluffy coat! Their beautiful non-shedding coats will require lifelong professional grooming along with regular brushing at home.
Their Perfect Home
These puppies are looking for families ready to embrace all the fun, energy, training, and laughter that comes with raising a very young puppy. They'll thrive with people committed to socialization, continued house training, regular grooming, and lots of playtime.
If you're looking for a tiny best friend with a huge personality—and don't mind occasionally wondering where that fluffy little puppy disappeared to (check under the couch!)—Petal, Tiny Bud, or Sprout just might be your perfect match.
One thing is certain: life with one of Rosebud's babies will never be boring, and it will always be full of love.
