Meet Mia, a professional people greeter, neighborhood watch captain, and certified lap dog! This sweet girl is happiest when she’s with her humans, spending all day in your lap if you let her. She loves giving kisses and will even try to leap straight into your arms for a cuddle. She enjoys walks, is curious about the world around her, and can often be found keeping an eye on everything happening outside the window.

Don’t let her cuddly side fool you—Mia is also an active, energetic girl who loves to play and stay on the move! She’s still working on her house training and learning her manners, including which surfaces are appropriate for lounging (she’s currently made a strong case that the kitchen table is prime real estate). She’s a fun, spirited girl who will keep you smiling as she continues to learn.

Mia has been selective about her canine friends, so she’d do best as the one-and-only dog in her forever home, though she’s perfectly happy to hang out around other dogs. Dog-savvy cats could make good roommates. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, slightly mischievous companion who will keep your lap warm and your neighborhood under surveillance, Mia just might be your girl!
