Maltese and Yorkshire Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Fort Collins, Colorado

Winnie is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. She loves to play and be part of the fun, but she’s just as happy relaxing nearby with her people. She is quiet and rarely barks, though she will alert you if someone enters the home. Winnie is wonderful with kids, dogs, and cats, and she has a very affectionate, eager-to-please personality. She loves being close to the people she cares about and would make a loyal, loving companion. Winnie is almost fully potty trained, kennel trained, and currently working on leash training. She’s a sweet, smart girl who is ready to find a family to love.

Winnie is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $900 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Winnie is also tested with other dogs, children, cats, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
