Maltese and Poodle Dogs Available for Adoption in Willingboro, New Jersey

My name is Stormy and I am looking for a forever home. I found myself at a scary place called a shelter in rural south Georgia where I was waiting to get adopted and then something happened and they said they needed to move as many of us as possible (we found out later it had something to do with some really bad fires). A small local rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help and they said, "of course!". So now myself and some of the friends I made at the shelter found ourselves in a foster home and are coming to New Jersey on Saturday, May 16th. A little about myself: I appear to be a fluffy white mix and the best guess is maybe a maltese with a poodle ... in other words, a malti-poo. The vet thinks I'm about 8 months old and I weigh a little over 10lbs and might get just a little bigger but not by much. I am pretty shy when I first meet new people 'cause of all of the changes in my young life but with a little bit of time, TLC and some treats I have started coming around to my foster parents. I have gotten along with all of the other small/medium dogs I have met and I don't bother those things called cats. I've done pretty good in my crate with just a couple of accidents in the beginning until I started learning the schedule around here; I also am not a barker nor do I tear up of any of my bedding; I even share my crate with one of my friends I came into foster without any issues. I'm a little bit of a fast eater and my friend will is slower so I try and get his food, too, so my foster mom does keep us separte for eating. I am still pretty scared about that thing called a leash so I will need some more practice with that, so until I do learn it, I will need a fenced yard in order to take care of my business and explore.
