9/2/26-Shilo did great during his neuter, no issues. He tested positive for a urinary tract infection and Lyme disease (caused by a tick bite, not contagious to people or other pets). When I pick him up later, the vet will give me antibiotics to clear both up.

9/1/26-Shilo was so well behaved during his grooming appt today! He looks so spiffy now! He is so sweet and has a great personality.

8/31/26-Shilo is a laid back puppy who wants to be wherever you are! He likes to look out windows and play with toys you hide treats in.
He really enjoys having another dog as a friend & is learning boundaries. He likes his crate & sleeps through the night. He currently wears a belly band in the house, but some accidents may be marking as he’s not neutered yet.

8/28/26-Shilo is an 8 month old purebred Lhasa Apso owner surrender that came into rescue today. Sadly his owner’s spouse died unexpectedly & Shilo is alone too much now as he works a lot & travels for work. He says he loves to be with people is a great little boy who deserves to have a family with or without another fur friend. Also says he is crate and leash trained, friendly with children of all ages & lived with a cat & was good. He also said Shilo loves car rides but is getting too big for his lap in the car. His neuter is next Wednesday 9/2 & soon after he will be ready for his new home.
