Meet Inky!

Inky is a sweet 2–3-year-old Poodle/Lhasa Apso mix who is ready to find the loving forever home she deserves!

Inky arrived in Illinois from Mississippi about three weeks ago after she and her fur buddy were found running loose in someone’s backyard. A private rescue quickly scooped them up and helped get them to safety, and now Inky is ready to begin the next chapter of her life.

This little girl is the ultimate snuggle bug! She loves nothing more than curling up next to her person and being held. She’s calm and low-energy inside, but don’t let that fool you—once she gets outside, she loves chasing squirrels!

Inky is crate trained and potty trained, making her an easy addition to her new family. She isn’t especially playful with other dogs, but she is respectful of them and does well sharing her space.

She loves kids and would be happy to have a family who will shower her with affection. Her behavior around cats is unknown, although her gentle, respectful personality makes us optimistic that she may do well with proper introductions.

And one of Inky’s cutest quirks? When treats or dinner are involved, she loves to strut around on her back legs** like a tiny circus performer!
