Meet Feather

Feather is a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old, 15-lb girl who absolutely loves being close to her people. She’s happiest curled up on a soft blanket, cozy bed, or—best of all—in your arms. She also thinks sweaters are the best thing ever!

Feather is spayed and dog friendly, although she needs slow, patient introductions. Once comfortable, she enjoys having a canine friend and would love a dog who appreciates cuddling as much as she does.

She sleeps peacefully in her crate at night, though she may protest a little during the day when left alone. She’s doing well roaming the house and is working hard on her training, including going to her bed and crate on command and waiting for her release word. She has also made wonderful progress with leash walking and now walks very well.

Feather is generally quiet, with adorable little grunts and grumbles when she wants attention or a good scratch. She’s not particularly interested in toys, but she does sleep with a stuffed elephant that doubles as her pillow!

She can be nervous around young children, so an adult home or one with older children who understand boundaries would be best.

Feather is a gentle little cuddlebug who would love a family that appreciates her sweet, cozy personality. She’s ready to find her forever home!
