Hi, I'm Dorothy.

I spent years living outside in Hesperia without the love every dog deserves. I had very little human interaction, and I was badly neglected. Thankfully, caring neighbors stepped in and even helped get me groomed. When my owner decided they no longer wanted me, Joe reached out to Desert Paws Sanctuary and waited patiently until there was space to rescue me.

Despite the fires, my wonderful foster, Jasmine, drove all the way to bring me to safety. That journey gave me a brand-new beginning.

Today I'm discovering that people can be kind, gentle, and loving. My past doesn't define me anymore, my future does.

Thank you, Joe, for believing I deserved a better life, and thank you, Jasmine, for going above and beyond to save me.

I'm finally safe, and now I'm looking for a forever family to call my own.
