Batik is extremely friendly and outgoing both with people and other dogs and acclimates very quickly to new environments. She likes toys, chews, and getting the zoomies. She will likely be a medium energy dog as an adult, but still has puppy energy. She would probably be fine as an only dog, but would also love an active and playful resident dog to run around with! She rides very well in the car and eventually would love to join some outdoor family adventures.
She has slight resource guarding around food after being in the shelter, but it is already reduced. Potential adopters should know that one of her biggest challenges is that she does jump on people persistently and will need consistent training to curb this habit especially as she is a very large puppy. Due to this she would not be appropriate in a household with the very young or anyone who might be easily knocked down.
Potential adopters should keep in mind that she is the size of an adult dog, but she is still only 6 months old and has all the typical puppy behaviors - chewing shoes and anything else she can get her paws on, getting into things, testing boundaries, and causing giant puppy chaos as she learns about the world.
