Hi, friends! My name is Jake, and I'm a handsome Yellow Labrador Retriever who's ready to leave my stray days behind and find a family to call my very own.

Since I came to Heartland through the pound, not much is known about my life before I arrived. But here's what everyone does know...I'm a friendly, happy, social guy who absolutely loves people! Making new human friends is one of my favorite things, and I'm always ready to share a wagging tail and a big Lab smile.

As for other dogs and cats, they're a bit of a mystery to me too! Since no one knows how I'll do with furry roommates, a meet and greet and slow introductions will help make sure we're a good match.

Here's some good news—I've been keeping my kennel clean here at Heartland, which is a pretty good sign that I'm most likely house trained. I'd say I'm off to a great start!

What I'm really looking for is a family to love, adventures to share, and a cozy place to call home. Whether we're going for walks, playing outside, or just relaxing together after a long day, I'll be happiest simply being by your side.
