Hi, friends! My name is Greta, and I'm a beautiful Pit Bull Terrier mix with a gentle heart that's just waiting to find its forever home.

I'll admit it—I can be a little bashful when meeting new people. New faces make me a bit nervous, so I just need a little time and patience. Once I realize you're a friend, though, you'll discover what everyone at Heartland already knows...I'm one sweet girl who loves being close to her favorite humans.

I'm kid friendly and have done well around small children. I also love other dogs, so I'd be happy to have a canine buddy to play with. Cats are still a mystery to me since I've never met one before, so if you have a feline family member, slow introductions will help us get to know each other.

When it comes to fun, I've got quite the list of favorite things! I love playing tug, tossing around toys, going for walks, hopping in the car for a ride, and spending time with my people. Oh, and if you're willing to brush me? You might just become my favorite person ever. I'll happily sit still and soak up every minute of the pampering!

Now for my honest confession...I'm not house trained yet. I'll need a patient family that's ready to teach me the ropes and celebrate my progress along the way. I promise I'll give it my best effort.
