Meet Lucy, a three-year-old Lab/Husky mix weighing 56 pounds.

Lucy is a beautiful, incredibly smart girl with piercing blue eyes and a personality that is sure to win you over. She already knows the command "sit" and is eager to learn more. Friendly, active, and outgoing, Lucy is the kind of dog who wants to be part of the action and involved with her people.

Lucy has been in three homes that we know of, and we are sad that no one has committed to keeping her. She deserves the stability, consistency, and love of a family who will make her part of their forever plans.

Lucy is an active girl and a bit of an escape artist when she’s bored or left unattended outdoors. She can dig under fences, so she’ll need a secure environment and supervision outside. Her intelligence means she can be quite resourceful when she decides she wants to go exploring!

She has been around other dogs, including small dogs, and has done well. She has also done well with children ages 7 and 8.

Lucy is smart, affectionate, adventurous, and ready for someone who will finally give her the commitment she’s been waiting for. Could you be her forever family?
