Like his namesake, he takes some time to open up: he's shy with new people at first, but give him a few minutes to warm up and he'll melt into belly rubs and playtime with you. Macallan is already showing some serious spirit too. He's a master escape artist when it comes to the playpen, but those puppy dog eyes of his are impressively persuasive (especially around mealtime). He's smart and food-motivated, with "sit" already mastered and "lay down" in the works. He loves a good bone or Kong, romping around the yard with his foster brothers, and curling up in a cozy blanket at the end of the day. He's crushing potty training and getting comfortable in his crate, where you might catch him snoozing upside down. Water lover as well, he thinks the garden hose is his personal drinking fountain.
