DESCRIPTION
Meet Comet!
Comet is a handsome, active young dog looking for the right adult home to call his own. Originally adopted as a puppy in 2024 after making the journey from Texas, Comet has recently returned to DHS and is searching for a fresh start.
Born in February 2024 and weighing about 55 pounds, Comet is house-trained, kennel-trained, and knows a variety of commands. He's a smart boy who listens well and enjoys learning and working with his people.
Comet loves spending time with adults, going on long walks, and riding along on car adventures. When it's time to play, you'll often find him chasing tennis balls or showing off his frisbee skills. He's also a fan of tasty treats, especially apples and raspberries!
This independent guy appreciates having his own space, particularly around food and toys. Because of this, Comet is looking for a CHILD-FREE home where his boundaries can be respected. He has successfully lived with other dogs and may enjoy a canine companion. He can also live with cats, though he may need some time and patience to warm up to new feline friends.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who enjoys both adventure and downtime, Comet may be the perfect match for you!
